Photographic Themes
My thoughts on the shooting assignment was that it was different from other projects. It was fun, but challenging. Certain words were very difficult for me because I didn't know how to protray them in a photo. For example, pride, compassion and wisdom. Those were my top three hard ones. Another thing that was annoying me was that about two of my photos couldn't be cropped 2 by 2 for you couldn't tell what my picture was trying to show. I think the end result of the project turned out well. I was able to finish the project with only a couple mishaps in my way. I love editing photos, so I thought that was exciting, but I wasn't a huge fan of the cropping. Some of my favorite photos are, the one I used for power which was a close up of a light and it doesn't have a big meaning, but I just think it looks cool. Then the picture of my grandparents is very important to me because they mean so much to me. I used that picture for love because I love them and because they have been married for 50 years, and I believe, are the prime example for the word love. My last photo is for happiness because it is a picture of my sister and as cheesy as it sounds, but when my sister is happy it makes me happy. And the reason there is a crown above her head is because we are die-heart disney princess fans. About every month we will have a disney princess marathon and Erica, my sister, always wished she was princess for she could eat exotic food and wear pretty dresses. Happiness for me is spending time with sister and doing fun things with her.
